Full Color TFT Display

 With the TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display, navigating and programming the E6's various drinks and features is a breeze. The vivid colors and intuitive icons make it easier than ever to brew your favorite drinks, check the status of your machine, and run cleaning cycles.

Programmable Brewing with P.E.P. 

In order to extract coffee with the richest aroma and flavor, the E6 makes use of two Jura brewing innovations the Intelligent Pre-Brew Aroma System (I.P.B.A.S.) and the Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.). The I.P.B.A.S. is a system that heats a small amount of water to wet the ground coffee prior to brewing. The infusion of hot water assists in creating a more even extraction of flavor and aroma while brewing. The P.E.P. process pulses water through the grounds at high pressure in short intervals. The pulsing helps to produce a more balanced cup by more evenly extracting from the entire puck of coffee.

With its 15 bar pump and thermoblock boiler, the E6 can produce a variety of specialty coffee beverages at the push of a button. Depending on your preferences you can program coffee strength in 8 intervals (5 -16 grams), water temperature in three intervals, beverage volume, and milk volume (for milk specialties). Each beverage can be pre-programmed with your own personal settings or manually adjusted on a per-drink basis. The brew spouts can be adjusted between 2.6" and 4.4" to accommodate cups of varying sizes and feature optional white and amber illumination while brewing. The E6 is capable of producing the following drinks at the push of a button:

• 1 Cappuccino
• 2 Coffees
• 1 Coffee
• 2 Espressi
• 1 Espresso
• Milk Foam 

Steaming and Frothing 

To produce one-touch cappuccinos and milk foam, the E6 is equipped with Jura's professional fine foam frother which siphons milk from a container and textures it into rich creamy foam. The frother is height adjustable between 2.6" - 4.4".

Water Features

 To accommodate tea, cocoa, and other non-coffee beverages, the E6 can dispense hot water via the milk spout and can be programmed to dispense at one of three temperature settings.

Grinder, Bean Hopper and Bypass Doser

 Jura's Aroma G3 grinder ensures rapid, even grinding that's quieter and faster than before. The grinder can be adjusted to one of several fineness settings to affect the overall extraction time and features a refined burr set with cutting angles that have been perfected for more even grinding and higher efficiency. The bean hopper can hold up to 9.9oz of whole bean coffee and is fitted with an aroma preservation lid. The internal dreg box can hold 16 spent pucks of coffee before emptying and the drip tray is electrically monitored and to alert you when it needs to be emptied.

Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.)

 Jura's intelligent water system makes use of RFID technology to automatically detect when the machine has been fitted with a water filter. The CLEARYL Smart water filter protects against limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals in your water to preserve the flavor of your coffee and extend the lifespan of your machine. Simply install the CLEARYL Smart water filter into the E6 and the I.W.S. will do the rest.

Automatic Rinsing and Energy Settings

 To keep your machine clean and running efficiently, rinsing and cleaning programs can be activated at the push of a button.

To reduce energy consumption, the E6 uses a Zero-Energy Switch to prevent power draw when the machine it turned off. Further energy savings are achieved through an energy saving standby mode which reduces power consumption to 6 watt-hour.
